I wasn’t always a copywriter.

As a kid, I wanted to be a print journalist, but that quickly changed when I saw how cool DJs were. So I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Mass Comm (specialization in radio).

Then, I fell in love with film, and graduated from RMIT with a Bachelors of Communication (Media), majoring in Asian Cinema. Did about a year of freelance videography in Melbourne and a year when I came back to Singapore. Till today, I still love watching films and editing (I use Premier Pro).

Got a recommendation from one of the freelance clients I was working with at the time, and decided to switch my profession, starting an internship as a copywriter at the independent agency of GOVT Singapore - I’m just about coming up to my fourth year at the agency as a midweight writer.

But I was always a gamer.

Gaming will always be a way of life for me. So if there’s an opportunity to blend what I’ve discovered I love doing with what I’ve always loved doing, it’s a no-brainer.
